Easy Cleaning and Maintenance:

• For optimal cleaning, circulate hot PBW for a minimum 5-minute contact time. Alternate flow direction for thorough cleaning, and rinse with water at the same temperature.

Important Care Instructions:

• Avoid Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to sunlight can degrade the PEX tubing.

• No Acidic Cleaners: Do not store with StarSan or other acidic products, as they can damage the copper.

What is PEX?

• PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) is a flexible, durable plastic tubing used as a reliable alternative to traditional copper or steel plumbing.

Choose Your Fittings:

• The Red Reaper comes with bare, 3/8" barbs that you can simply clamp your tubing onto. However, we recommend using male thread adapters which will allow you to convert to your preferred fittings for the water and wort lines -- Camlock, Garden Hose, Tri-Clamp, Quick Disconnect (QD), etc.
