Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice is globally known as the shining star of Thai cuisine. As the name implies, it is a famous kind of Jasmine White Rice, grown predominantly in Thailand and sometimes Vietnam. In order to be exported and labeled as a true Thai Hom Mali Rice, its production needs to meet certain requirements, as this rice cultivars’ characteristics are unique to its place of origin.

How to Cook Thai Hom Mali Rice Stovetop
  • Take 1.5 cup of water for each cup of rice
  • Bring both to a boil
  • Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes (covered)
  • While still covered, let it rest for 5 mins
Rice Cooker Method
  • Take 1.2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice
  • Select long-grain rice cooking in settings and hit start

Bear in mind to store Thai Hom Mali fragrant rice in an airtight container that keeps out moisture and dust. If stored in a cool dry place its shelf life reaches up to 1.5 years.
