This kit is perfect for home brewers looking to create a rich, complex flavor profile with a charming southern drawl.

Complex Flavor Profile

Bourbon Belle takes the beautifully complex flavor of Brunch Stout and adds a little giddy-up with an addition of bourbon-soaked oak chips. The oak chips are added to simulate the barrel-aging process used for making Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout, or 'KBS'. The result is a remarkably rich flavor profile with dark malts, cacao nibs, and ground coffee.

Patience is a Virtue

You wouldn't expect a foal to win the Triple-Crown, so practice patience when brewing Bourbon Belle. We recommend a conditioning period of 2 to 6 months to allow this beer to fully mature before entering the race.

Our kit includes everything you need to brew 5 gallons of Bourbon Belle Brunch Stout, including Nugget and Willamette hops, dark malts, cacao nibs, ground coffee, and bourbon-soaked oak chips. Please note that this recipe calls for 2 oz of Kona and Sumatra coffee grounds and 1 cup of Kentucky Bourbon, which are not included in the kit.
